New life!

I was surprised to notice the healthy new leaves growing on this croton plant. It is at least 5 or 6 years old, starting off as a small plant and is now about 5 feet tall! I did give it some fertiliser a month or so ago so with plenty of water too it has been growing well and more new leaves at once than usual. 

So much rain during the night again so I did more sorting of books and some sewing today. Plus putting photographs in frames before Pilates and a dog walk this afternoon. I definitely needed wellies today even on the local recreation fields as the paths were muddy and the grass is still long and wet,
