Sunset/moonrise

First, thank you everyone for your kind messages yesterday.

A quick phone snap on my way home this evening. I spent the afternoon at S's, with neighbour A and the undertakers. We went over all the details of the funeral ... it was exhausting even for me, so even worse for S, but she managed to keep it together. The undertaker had brought along a young woman who spoke excellent English, which made it much easier for S. And they were  both really nice. Nearly all details sorted now, and the undertaker will look after all the paperwork needed for the funeral and cremation to happen.

It's still hard to believe ... we couldn't help referring to R in the present tense. In a horrible twist of fate, it was his birthday today. Need a quiet relaxing evening now.
