The Colour Purple

Kerri, Sarah and I saw a musical adaption of the book by Alice Walker this afternoon at Norwich Theatre.  It was great.  Although we had the cheap seats on the back row we were invited to move to better ones as the theatre was only half full.  Hoorah!

We may have been small but we were an enthusiastic audience as you can see from the standing ovation.

Back home to pack my suitcase for an early start tomorrow.  Jo and I are going for a long weekend to Valletta in Malta but the train strikes have made the UK travel arrangements unreliable.... and as a result I'm driving to Heathrow (and parking) first thing tomorrow.

Cue, sleepless night and anxious drive.
