Sitting on the fence

Or just about to. The Magpie had spotted a bit of lunch on the road and was timing its visits to the feast between traffic. A wrong move and it could easily become lunch for some other bird. A day of calm after yesterday and I was out for a walk earlier than usual as Andrew was being dropped off after school and I was the designated responsible person.
