From the Top Deck

Heading home after dropping the car off for repair, the bus took an interesting, diverted route. Used to walk this way to school but not by moonlight.
Bad news from the garage when it transpired that my car can’t just get new rear shock absorbers fitted because it has a special (ie expensive), rare (ie very expensive) dual rear suspension system and the whole kit & caboodle needs replaced. Once one is found beyond our protected shoreline.
Cheaper (but not much better) action in Istanbul where the Jambos rounded off their European campaign with their now traditional clutch of defensive errors. Watched it in the pub with DougM and JacktheLad so at least didn’t suffer alone.
But the day ended well with a good catch up with the North Carolinans. Or is it Carolinians? Who cares?!
