Rydal morning

Deb had a run round Rydal and Grasmere this morning, while I photographed at the edge of Rydal Water - hardly moved in almost two hours - waiting for the light, waiting for smooth water, and dodging rain showers. The main pic is of the Island with one of the all too infrequent moments of Sun and (almost) calm, with a big stopper. The extra is of the Sunbeams and rain. When I first looked at it, I thought something had gone wrong with the ISO, but it isn't noise - it's just rain.

A great morning, then this evening we met up with Graham Colling & L for Dinner at a lovely pub in Threlkeld.
