Uros Floating Islands

So hard to pick a photo today. Last night I got on a 24hr bus from Cusco. It stopped at Puno for a 2hr trip to the Uros floating Islands and then a 4hr boat trip to Isla del Sol after the border crossing.

This is one of the floating Islands on the Peru side of Lake Titicaca. Such a different way of life - it was so interesting to hear about it.

They call the boat in the picture their 'Mercedes Benz' they offer a trip in it to tourists for 10 soles.

Now in La Paz, Bolivia. What a day!
