Aperitif Glass

I shot through the bottom of the crystal glass and saturated the colors for Abstract Thursday today.  Many thanks to Ingeborg for hosting!

Poor Becky just called from the airport.  The flight was the "worst ever" -  and she does a lot of traveling.  It was bumpy all the way from Las Vegas to Denver and she was sick the whole time.  She's been in the airport for 30 minutes now and still feels sick.  I told her that she shouldn't drive, especially since it's snowing and getting dark.  Hopefully, she will take my advice and get an Uber.  We can go back for her car tomorrow when she feels better and the storm moves out.  Waiting to hear back from her after she gets her bags and steps outside for fresh air. :(

I am grateful that she landed safely.  Now she just has to make the right decision and catch an Uber home.  Fingers crossed.

EDIT:  Becky drove herself home and arrived safely.  She still feels awful, though.  Hopefully, she'll sleep it off.  While she was on her way, the snow got heavier.  It wasn't sticking to the road, but I didn't know that until she got home.  I added an extra of snow on the tree I used in yesterday's blip.  It was taken just before dark.  We could get up to 3 inches by morning, but it looks like we already have that much!  Piper will probably be a Blipstar tomorrow.  She's out on the deck in the dark, lying in the snow right now. :-)
