Controlled Burn

The other day's snow has now melted and it is quite warm today. The park looked odd. Someone had performed large areas of controlled burn, leaving it like bare fields of late Autumn. But Life is ready, you can feel and see it. The trees are releasing pollen and are gathering their energies to burst with new leaf. The warm day promises the Summer to come.

Maddy, my canine companion and the light of my life, has gone in for surgery today because of a lump. It turns out that her lump is a hernia thank goodness!

Sometimes a controlled burn is necessary, with the promise of Life to come.
