tulips - and little boys
I have to share my story with you: This morning I came across this field of tulips - you know you can cut and buy them directly from this fields - and my thought was to take todays blip - but took my wallet with because I immediately thought it would be nice having a few tulips at home. So I strolled through the fields to take a few photos and to look after nice grown tulips. Then I recognized a littleboy (he came from school and had his school bag with him) and a elderly woman having a discussion. The elderly woman talked loud and clear: "If you don't have enough money you cant cut these flowers - better go home and bring the money" The little boy was close to tears and said to the elderly woman: " But I want to bring these flowers to my mum and I have just this money (I could see that it was just a few cents and every tulip costs 50 cents). I want to give her the flowers so that she stops to cry. I brought her flowers yesterday and she stopped crying and was happy... So today she was sad again and I will bring her flowers so that she is happy again." The elderly woman wanted to teach the boy and told him: But you have to bring enough money to make your mum happy" - And I don't know what happened to me - I came closer to the elderly woman and the boy and asked him: " How many flowers do you want to bring to your mum?" And he replied" 3 of them- one red, one yellow and one pink". So I said to him" Okay lets chose the most beautiful tulips of the field and I will pay for your flowers if you don't have enough money". The little boy was so cute (and honestly I had tears in my eyes) he took my hand and said: Okay if you pay you can choose the flowers and colours". So we went away and did cut the most beautiful flowers for him (he just wanted 3 of them) and I took 10 tulips for me... He was soo nice and cute and chatted the whole time while we did search for the beautiful tulips. Then when he was ready to leave he waved good bye and thanked me - and shouted out: I am back tomorrow - and you?
Soooo cute - sooo sad - and just so happy that I paid this (for me) small amount of 1,20 Euro for the "young man" - who just wanted to stop his mum crying and making her happy :(((
