Excellent woman

I love reading old Georgian gravestones, like this one in St. Michael’s graveyard in Inveresk. Turns out that as well as being benevolent and amiable, Elizabeth Miller was an excellent woman, as well. I blipped this gravestone on this mornings walk in the lovely sunshine,

I had great plans for this afternoon, which included going to west Edinburgh to see my bank, which were abandoned, as every road in that direction inc. the bypass seemed gridlocked. Anyway, I wasn’t going to spend my afternoon stuck in the car, so came back to East Lothian and am now chilling with a cup of tea! Sometimes, you just have to give up on the day, lol.
