Bathroom tiles

We have tiles! I took this photograph at lunchtime. By the time that the tiler left today, half the tiles were in place. He'll be back tomorrow to finish off the fixing. The grouting will be done next week.

Today has been one of catching up and cooking. For dinner this evening I have made honeyed fig and cheese tarts as a starter, and spiced lamb meatballs with sumac roasted cauliflower and pomegranate to be served with couscous for our main course. Jon is bringing éclairs for pudding. We'll be playing games, but I doubt that I will be as successful as I was last week with my three wins.

Exercise today: 5k run.
