240,000 Miles

A milestone for my car today!  It is 13 years and 3 months old and is still going strong!  Since working from home during lockdown and going self employed almost 2 years ago, I don't have the daily commute so it has taken 1 year and 3 months to do 15,000 miles.  I used to do  about 20,000 miles a year.

And I had to scrape the car to go to a meeting this morning!  Brrrr!  But a beautiful morning it was indeed!  Cold and crisp but sunny!

And, after a grand total of 3 miles over 2 days in my new boots, I have a blister. I think they might take a while to break in! I’m just glad my old ones don’t leak… yet!

Banana Rum and some paprika crisps as a wee treat tonight!
