Yew Berries ....

Not the easiest berries to photograph as they tend to grow on the underside of the yew leaves. The seeds of the yew tree are enclosed inside the red, fleshy, berry-like structure which is open at the tip. Many birds and squirrels love the seeds.

Red soup made this morning ..... no recipe just plenty of veg including carrot, sweet potato and red pepper. Just got to liquidise it now and fill containers for the freezer.

I have run out of extras so tonight I must go back and delete some from earlier in the year.
