The glare
This is the dog which lives in the B&B where we stayed in June when we came to Tain to view the cottage which is now ours. We often walk down (or up) past that B&B either to go to the supermarket or to set off on a walk (or to come home). We took an early walk today before I started work. We did a walk we've done a couple of times, but in the opposite direction, with lots of walking into a low bright sun which was sometimes a bit tricky. Anyway, it was a lovely start to the day.
I got on with my stuff, involving meetings and a mock interview, and Mr A got on with hanging curtains. We now have curtains in our bedroom and in the living room. We have removed the previous blinds. I think some might think to double up blinds and curtains, but honestly I'm not bothered by people seeing in during the day, and this house much more suits curtains than it does blinds.
More chilling this evening. There is a bonfire down on Tain links, but to be honest both of us are quite knackered after all the various things we've ploughed through today, so we'd rather stay in and admire our new curtains than go out. A bit limp really.
