Witch Ball

Blippers HareBrain and Stiffknees have recently taken photos of a Witch Ball, which prompted me to blip mine.   This was a gift from daughter, Julia, when she was a student at Swansea University some 20 or so years ago (how time has flown) and hangs in our living room window.   They are said to have been hung in windows during the 17th and 18th century to ward off evil spirits, witches and spells.  Thanks to you both.
