Snowbird

Dark-eyed juncos are a type of sparrow which we only see in Fall and Winter. They’re cute little birds who are mostly ground feeders and like to use their feet to scratch the snow to get to seeds that are on the ground. From what I can tell we have a pair staying with us • Ticked off a few smaller outdoor chores as we continue our prep for winter cold. It’s hard to believe it’s November with the temperatures forecasted for the weekend. Are you ready for it? 70F!!! When normal temperatures arrive early next week, it should be quite a jolt to the system • Still Marching with The Saints, over and over and over. I find I’m not as sharp practicing in the afternoon, but it couldn’t be helped today because of a couple of errands • Have a joyful and safe weekend!
