Curlicue

I made several studies of reeds today. Another warm day and I was out with the camera earlier whilst the sun was still strong and bright. Reeds seem to feature a lot, so it gets harder to find a new shot, but I keep looking.

After a while I saw these reflections which pointed to one another. The lines they form make a circular gesture, indicating movement and direction. But for the most part, the image is peaceful and empty, still water, mirror like. It seems a precious moment.
