A firm yank does the trick.

Fairly busy day for a bank holiday...

Took some washing over to my daughter's house - our machine won't be fixed until friday.
Then onto Scarlett's house so that Flick could take her out shopping.
I gave the car it's annual wash - I have a thing about not wasting water on keeping cars clean - and then onto the park to get something to blip.

Back home to post, and then I shall spend the rest of the evening cutting an unruly hedge.

I was not looking into the camera when I took this, it was at waist height, pointing in the general direction of these folks, in the hope that I would catch them crossing paths. I couldn't believe how well it came out.
I also was hoping the dogs would kick off, but a yank on the leads from their respective owners ensured there was no funny business, and on they went in their separate directions.
