Bromeliad Flower

This is my sister’s Guzmania Bromeliad, a tropical houseplant that she recently acquired. This plant will only flower once in its lifetime, but the bloom will last for several months. I decided to add a texture to the image with the DistressedFX iPhone app that I have been experimenting with.
