Sunshine and wind
We had an early breakfast, then a quick visit to the Parnell Farmer’s Market, before Mr MacD went off to the Maritime Museum to go sailing. Apparently it was rather lively out on the harbour today.
Meanwhile I caught up with some household chores, then drove to Parnell to start delivering some brochures. It was warm in sheltered areas, but there was quite a strong, cool breeze.
Mr MacD came to help with the brochures after he’d finished sailing, then we returned home, went over for a drink with Mum (who’s much better today after drinking a lot of water during the day) and afterwards walked down to the local Thai restaurant for a quick meal.
The main blip is a wedding I came across as I walked on Judge Street, Parnell this afternoon. Unfortunately I only got a back view of the bride, but the car is rather nice. The extra is a vase of freesias we bought at the market this morning. They’re rather interesting freesias, being so tall and, sadly, they don’t seem to have a scent. How can freesias not have a scent?!!
