Posting this a day late as yesterday I was far too exhausted to select which photo to use after the bank holiday road trip out to Blists Hill Victorian town in Bridgenorth.

Sods bloody law that on the hottest day of year thus far and a much looked forward day out with the boy that I gradually came down with a terrible aliment called lady flu.

Still I battled on and tried my best to be as enthusiastic as the boy with the sights, sounds and smells of a by gone era.

Why I didn't have a peep in the jars in the Apothecary for a remedy I do not know - modern day medicines ain't working!
