Plitvice Lakes National Park

It was sunshine almost all the way on the drive up from Split yesterday, but about 20 minutes before we reached Plitvice the mist rolled in. I was really hoping it would clear for today, but it didn't.

It didn't spoil our walk around the park too much though, it was just beautiful and so peaceful. Apparently this place gets thousands upon thousands of visitors on a summer day (which I could not stand), but being here off peak meant we hardly saw anyone else. This view was towards the end of the 6 hour walk, heading back to the car.
