Lunch in the City

We had a few things to do in the city so we made a day of it as you do ; )
Loved this mirror image of the trees overlooking the Murray St Mall. 
In extras, there was a live Jazz band in Forrest Place and it sounded fantastic in that space, we sat and listened for quite a while!!

Julians next birthday (January) is a special one as he’ll turn 40!  
OMG where did those years go!!  He has some major things he wants as presents so I’m indulging him and we’ve been on the hunt for them all as there are shortages of everything here.  
It was our lucky day and we managed to get the two final things!!  One was basketball shoes, finally managed to get the ones he liked in the right size (13)!  They were new release Nike Jordans and he totally fell in love with them so a big tick for those off the list yay! Unfortunately I have to get him to try them on before we buy them which spoils any idea of a ‘surprise’ but he doesn't care really and he wont be getting them until the day of his birthday! ; )
The other was another season of The Bill, which he has loved forever, he has quite a few but it was proving hard to get the next one in line, thats done and dusted now too!  A few other minor things still to be found and one real surprise item and I can stop worrying when thats all done ; )

Then we headed to G’s place for afternoon tea and onwards after that to Julians for dinner! Whew I’m exhausted, full of food and ready for bed ahhhhh!!
