CAR at 60

I have always been a bit car mad. Not in a mechanical way, more aesthetically - and a complete sop for the travel adventures and they write very well on the whole. Many letter writers in CAR say how they have been readers for over forty years and I am not far off that mark. The issues pop through the letter box and sometimes pile up unread, but I am now down to the October and November issues which I opened today and was delighted to see that they form a nice anniversary pair. If I have one demotivation as a reader it is that I can’t really get excited about electric vehicles. Descriptions of pistons firing are much more captivating than whirring boxes.
