Raising Expectations

Today I did a fungus walk for some university students. We went into a lovely park and almost immediately saw this amazing cluster of Shaggy Scalycaps, and nearby the smelliest Stinkhorn ever. Sadly, the rest of the park didn’t quite live up to its early promise. Sheffield is a city of trees - and the one in extras is probably one of the best known.
