Saturday so we walked at Emsworth along by the sea. The water was high and a brisk wind blew, perfect conditions for the end of season sailing race. We watched the boats flying down to the finish line, their colourful spinnakers billowed out in front.
Another very wet and dark day. This string of bryony with its cheerful red berries shone out of the gloom as we trudged through the mud on our afternoon dog walk.
A treat of beautifully tasty local smoked haddock for dinner this evening.
