Blackchurch Rock

Despite a wet start to the day, it 'turned out nice again' or, at least, not wet. I wanted to visit the geological feature, Blackchurch Rock. It really needs low tide (plan for tomorrow) but timings and weather meant we were there at high tide with the waves pounding in. Spectacular! 

The path in had been long and not easy but J suggested going up over the mountain to return to our van. Definitely a lot of 'up', ok at first but I did get fed up with the 'up' going on and on! I didn't winge (much) but just plodded on.

I hope the weather is good enough for the low tide shots along the rocks tomorrow. If you haven't been here it's well worth it. We will do the more gentle way out tomorrow.
