Day trip out

As a Blue Light Card holder, I get discount for a number of things. Recently they advertised a Blue Light Card holder day at Chessington Zoo (and adventure park) - tickets purchased. Arrived at Chessington - daughter, Caleb and Austin. Raining when we arrived and on/off through the day.

Sought out the “animals” - Chessington is more an adventure park of exhilarating rides - boys just a bit too young although we found a few ok for them to go on.

Austin managed to have a little cat nap in his buggy while our daughter and Caleb went on a ride. A much needed nap as he was becoming quite tired.

A full day - 10am to 5pm - boys thoroughly enjoyed it, daughter and I knackered at the end of the day.

Relaxing bath, strictly and relaxing evening [hubby has sore arms, he had his flu jab in one arm and his covid booster in the other today].
