The Lull before the storm

A foul day - wet, cold, foggy, and it's meant to be getting even worse with strong winds and torrential rain to look forward to tonight. Indoor playtimes at school, everyone cranky and wired - urghhh. A quick trip round a soggy garden - the clematis is out and covered in midges and mosquitos. The gunnera is rampant, the blossom has fallen and the flag irisies are mis-shapen. I've just booked for an open air concert this sunday - that could have been a little foolish.
