First Lily

Another great day. Cooked a full English breakfast for my family and then my son and grandson got to work. Hedges cut ,spraying done, chimney swept and cap of it fixed, spouting cleaned and lots of other little jobs
Lunch was ham and salad, potatoes, beetroot and peas followed by peaches and ice cream. They were all very appreciative of the weekend meals and were soon on their way south and north respectively
It is so lovely having family around and sure felt quiet when they headed away so got cracking on the washing. Sheets and towels all washed and in and folded so a good start for the week ahead.
Great to see the garden over these last few warm days come into life with the first of the summer flowers
