Lumpy Bracket
My recent images have been rather focused on fungi, but I make no apologies as this has turned out to be one of the best seasons in recent years, albeit after a very slow start because of the unusually dry autumn.
Today I took K and D out to find Fly Agaric, as D had never seen one and wanted to come back and photograph it at his leisure. We found plenty to satisfy him, in all stages of development, but there were also many other fungi to keep K and I interested, including this well-named Lumpy Bracket growing on a dead Silver Birch.
