Black Jelly Drops

Another new one fo me.
Also known as Black Bulgar and scientifically as 
Bulgaria inquinans.

Wikipedia tells me that it grows on branches and bark of dead Oak and
Hornbeam trees. In dry weather they feel elastic and in wet weather they feel like leather.
They grow across Europe and in parts of USA.
They are inedible.
