Teenage pizza party

First stop is Porty, to post Angus broken phone and buy bread and cheese for lunch. We collect a slightly hungover Leila and transport her to Haddington - where we find a slightly worse-for-wear Ang.

Then it’s an afternoon mellow banter and lovely food. Homemade minestrone with seaweed sourdough bread. A vast selection of cheeses - including Strathearn Blue, Cabot, and Minger! An apple birthday cake for Kerry.

Back in Earlston to make pizza. Charlie is at home, but goes out before the pizza is ready. Sam arrives a bit tipsy, bearing gifts and a half bottle of Glen’s. Chloe brings a colour changing gin and some flowers.

The youth want their pizzas with tomato and mozzarella only. Kerry and I add olives, anchovies, red onions, red pepper. Yum.
