Fungi

This little white fungi  was hiding amongst the leaf litter at the base of a Beech tree. Sometimes this can be the sign of rot at the base of the trunk, but there were no other examples of it. Another thoroughly wet and miserable morning, but a dry interlude after lunch allowed a reasonable walk.
