Hanging on
Bailey determined our get up time again this morning and we were up and walking in the murk a little after half eight. Home to get on with some Y11 marking and a bit of lesson prep. There has also been telly catch up of the Bake Off variety and another walk for Bailey. It felt like it was going dark as we were coming back at not even three o'clock so I took the camera out into the garden to capture the roses which look much more creamy/ peach than the creamy / white of the summer. I don't think there will be many more garden blips this year.
Within a few minutes of this shot, the skies were very dark and it was chucking it down. A few fireworks this evening but nothing like last night. Bailey has stayed close but hasn't been anywhere near as stressed as last night thankfully.
