Our first ...

... trip to Newquay!

A day of full on rain was forecast, so decided a trip to the aquarium was in order to take advantage of being inside!

Thankfully no rain initially so after a lovely brunch had a wander taking in Fistral Beach - though not much surfing going on today! 

Also managed to pay a visit to the studio of the glass piece we got for the lounge last year - unfortunately Freya wasn't there but we did admire and could have bought many more of her beautiful pieces!

Then headed inside for shelter as the heavens opened!

Lots of fun fishy things to see but not sure we'll pay a return visit to Newquay!!! Even if I did like the coloured lockers by the beach in extras!

Then in the space of 2 minutes got completely soaked running from the car to the house when we got back - crazy mad weather - and we then had to head out again in it for dinner!!
