St Clements cake

Back to baking today.

I've been struggling with back issues for a while and as a consequence I didn't sleep well last night. So I was up at 4am today and thought I might as well (slowly) get on with some stuff. So I made this and some cinnamon buns.

I will have to make more buns as my daughter managed to raid them when my back was turned (getting the camera grrr). They were blumming lovely though so I can't blame her really :)

I love this cake and have blipped it before, back in my very early days. Still as delicious now as it was then. Thank goodness! In the book it goes...
