Merz Trio +
We attended a concert tonight. The Merz Trio performed the film music of Korngold and Shostakovich, as well as a cello solo written by Benjamin Britten. For the second half, Oskar Espina Ruiz, clarinetist, and artistic director of Chamber Music Wilmington) performed an extended work by Olivier Messiaen. Titled "Quartet for the End of Time" in 8 movements, it was quite impressive.
HERE is the Merz Trio performing Haydn.
