Compact Lighting...
I was so surprised this worked. Anybody that has tried to take indoor shots with a compact camera where the subject is not completely still may be familiar with this problem.
Any lack of light and you need to use a flash. If you don't use a flash, you get blurring. When you do use the flash too close, you get an over-exposed subject with a dark background.
My Blue Peter solution.... Piece of card and kitchen foil.
I used it to make a small reflecting surface, bounced the flash light up and got a pretty decently lit close-up, indoor shot.
