Out in the country
Sunday
Another glorious sunny day, unusually warm for November - with a high of 74F (about 23C)! Our usual morning at church, singing in the choir, then followed by Bible study. It was a Communion service this morning. Then it was time to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather - we have another 5 days of warm weather, then next Saturday the temperatures take a dive to more seasonal temperatures! In the meantime, we’ll make the most of it! So it was back to the bike trail, starting from Corwin and heading north for almost 16 miles return. You had to watch out where you were going as there were quite a number of twigs and bits of branches on the trail brought down by yesterday’s strong winds. There was still quite a breeze today, so coming back was a bit of a struggle in parts. There were still a few fields of corn, that hadn’t been cut yet, though as you can see from my collage, one farmer was working on his field.
It was roast lamb for dinner, that we had bought from Turner Farm earlier in the week.
