Quoth the Raven...

...Nevermore.

I was out for a walk in the sunshine this lunch time, camera in hand, when I came across this little chap (larger version here). Now, I know nothing about birds - the feathered kind or otherwise - so I've no idea if this is a raven or not, but seeing it reminded me of the classic poem by Edgar Allen Poe - hence the title.

The heron I posted a shot of last week was around as well. Here he is landing in the Water of Leith for a quick paddle. He stayed for a while and I got a shot or two, but I don't think he appreciated the attention as he soon flew off.
