Bean is really all I need for a happy day: birthday or not.

It has been a lovely 61st. It began with a Skype with my #1 brother, s-in-l and niece. Then there were some cards and gifts to open before I pottered about in the garden.

There are plenty of jobs to be getting on with, but this morning I found a warm spot and read my book.

After taking Bean for a long walk I found a shady spot and ate chocolate.

I had planned for my neighbour to come over this evening to take a photo of me and Bean for a new avatar, but he timed his arrival while I was fully-soaped in the shower. He beat a hasty retreat. It can wait…
