Wrapped up

A visit to Manchester City centre to visit my daughter. We admired the Lowry paintings in the art gallery and went for a meal in a restaurant followed by home made apple crumble. Fireworks were already going off all over the city and the slight fog was reminiscent of the paintings by Lowry’s teacher Pierre Valette.
Town Hall is wrapped up for renovation. The city has changed so much in recent years with many high rises going up and it feels very vibrant.
