Mono Monday. —. Fika

Thanks for an interesting challenge Heanku. I have never heard of Fika before today but like the idea very much. In Australia we call it “Smoko”. 

Here are the teddies fighting over who gets the cup. There is only one left and no saucer. My Aunty Marjory gave me this set when I was little. It is usually packed away out of sight so was nice to get it out and reminisce. 

We are still without a gas supply, it takes awhile to get 20000 customers back on with individual checks at each site. I’m using the microwave, oven and an electric frypan for cooking. 

Forbes is a large town on the Lachlan River and has just experienced the worst flood in 70 years. The towns of Walgett and Lightening Ridge have had food drops as they have been isolated for weeks. It’s very wet in inland Australia.
