Bread and butter pudding

I only took one photo today as we were driving home from Cullompton where we broke the journey last night. The rain was unrelenting on the motorway with lots of spray so it wasn’t the easiest journey. Luckily I had soup in the freezer and I made a bread and butter pudding for afterwards. I used an Aldi Pannetone thinking it wouldn’t be much good. In actual fact it was lovely and a bit of a waste to use it in a pudding. I’m going back to Aldi to get another for (whisper it) Christmas.  What day can we start officially referring to Dec 25th?
