The Old Lighthouse

The old Eddystone Lighthouse today on a blustery November day. The lighthouse once stood on the Eddystone Reef, 11 miles off Plymouth. It was dismantled and re-assembled on Plymouth Hoe when a new lighthouse was built to replace it. If lighthouses could choose where to retire I think this one would have chosen this location!
