Why do the local crows like the power lines so much?

Does it make their feet tingle?

I watched this one shoo off a mate then go through a yoga routine next to the insulator. Invigorated, he then shouted at the world!

Mind you, all the birds were shouting this morning. Maybe, they too were feeling the heat? The cuckoo was very loud in the southern washlands! but I couldn't see him.
