A splash of colour

Not a bad day weatherwise ..... we did have some sunshine occasionally though it was mostly cloudy.

We had a wander up the road this afternoon ..... not much about it though there were lots of Goldfinch flitting about & twittering ... not stopping for a photo shoot though!

Noticed this single flower surrounded by fluffy seedheads ...... these were all along the edge of the field ..... great for the pollinators :-)

As we were heading back it became very windy ...... the sky darkened & there were a few spots of rain .... thankfully that was all & we made it home in the dry! :-)
