'Generations have trod'

The enticing track to Clachbain featured in yesterday's Blip leads on to the crofts of Rynechra which can just be seen on the horizon. The empty moor is particularly attractive on still, blue sky days when the duns and russets of the abandoned buildings tone with the shades of the vegetation. It is hard to appreciate how busy the moor was generations ago when it supported dozens of families.
